Requirements for qualification of Business Loan

This section provides an overview of the requirements needed for the qualification of a Business Loan.

The business loan shall be granted to members/customers who have businesses and wish to improve or expand their business.
The business loan is issued to an account holder who have been active for at least three months.
The product must be fully secured and the security fully charged to Ammar Sacco Society Ltd.
The product must be guaranteed by two active account holders.
The products must be in line with the two third rules.
Rate of repayment is 18% on reducing balance.
Repayable with a maximum of 36 months.

Who Can Join Us?

Ammar Sacco has open membership. This is a great opportunity for anyone willing to save, invest or take loans for asset purchase, business growth, education etc.

How do I become a member?

Fill an account opening form and surrender a certified copy of ID and KRA Pin.

Pay Kshs.500 being membership registration fee.

Buy minimum share capital of 200 shares of Ksh.20 each worth Ksh.4000.

Commence monthly contribution to deposits.

Member Deposits (BOSA)

Every member of the Sacco must make regular contributions (at least monthly) to the deposits.

The deposits are member's savings hence one decides how much to save regularly.

Deposits are refundable when a member exits (withdraws) from the Sacco.

Deposits earn interest (dividends) as adopted by the ADM every year.

Deposits determine the borrowing level (as a multiplier) and the guarantee level for a member.

How to Qualify/ Apply for Loan?

Members can qualify to apply for loan after regular contribution for three months.

A member fills the loan application form provided and attaches the required documents.

Once processed the funds are deposited in the members FOSA account from where he/she can transact or issue further instructions.

Member commences repayment of loan.
